Sydney’s online marquee!
By: Liam | September 4th, 2008Hey folks I’m going to be blogging all about Sydney FC now as often as i can with news about, well, everything Sydney FC. So everybody interested in following the best club in the A-League can stay posted here!
Now down to business…
This week there are no games becuase of FIFA, but the week after Sydney come up against the Jets who were thrashed by Melbourne 5-0 last week, with rather abysmal performances by Jade North and Ante Covic in particular. Sydney will be looking to back up their convincing 5-2 win over Perth with another dominant display, and it will definetely help having Marquee signing John Aloisi back to fitness. One downside is that injury plagued defender Jacob Timpano will be out following yet another injury, but he will be replaces by Tony Popovic who has also been out with injury. Also hopefully coming back are Santalab and Biddle who’s form late last season really helped Sydney in their finals push.
